It’s time to enter our competition for 2022!
We’re thrilled to be back for our 4th year!
In 2021, we had a record breaking 90 individual shops take part and the standard was incredibly high. Phyllis Tuckwell, Hospice Care scooped the top prize after a very lengthy judging session with Vicki Burnett from The Charity Retail Consultancy, along with Terry Gardner from Acopia.
So now it’s time to think about your entry for 2022 and this year, we have the wonderful Jennifer Graham – Charity Shop Girl – who will be visiting charity shops across the UK to see your windows.
Jen will be sharing photos and videos of your displays with over 15,000 followers on Instagram and nearly 70,000 on Tik Tok which will be amazing for your shop and local community!
If you follow Jen, you’ll see her videos and posts about her latest fabulous charity shop finds receive millions of likes. It’s a fantastic opportunity to get involved and promote your window and the work you’re doing. She will also be one of the judges too.

As usual – the competition is open to all charities and hospices and you can enter as many shops as you wish.

How to enter
Once again, we will be paying close attention to
- Innovative use of recycling and re-purposing of materials and props
- The theme behind your window
- Use of colour and lighting
Send in your pics!
Upload photographs of your window, along with a short written piece about your theme. If you are not able to use the form, you can send your entry to us by email to [email protected]
You have until Friday 16th December to enter your shop and we will be announcing all the winners on the 20th December.

The prizes
1st Place Prize
Our first place winner – you’ll get to spend a day with Charity Shop Girl who will kindly volunteer in your store! You’ll also receive a £175 voucher to spend with Acopia.
2nd Place Prize
Our second place winner – you’ll receive £100 voucher to spend with Acopia as well as a hamper for the shop team to share.
3rd Place Prize
Our third place winner – you’ll receive a hamper to share with the shop team.
